Note: The Quest 2/3/Pro does not support the Spawnpoint Map Management functionality such as "Create New Tracking Map" and "Copy Map from Device", these are features exclusive to the VIVE Focus 3 and Pico 4 Enterprise.
Spawnpoint Two-Point Calibration System
NOTE: Due to the limitations of the Meta Quest, you can only use this if your Quest boundary is enabled, as the Quest does not allow us to disable recentering your playspace when the boundary is disabled (which in turn breaks our calibration). If you have previously performed a calibration and need to remove it so that you can use Spawnpoint games without the boundary being enabled (by holding the Oculus button down to recenter), please plug each Quest into your PC and delete the file at "Quest > SpawnpointAgent > two_point_alignment.json" via Windows Explorer. We will be adding an option for disabling calibration to the Spawnpoint UI soon.
To use this calibration system, follow the below steps:
1.) To start calibration on your Quest headset, launch any supported game and hold the Grip, Trigger and Joystick down on both controllers until they vibrate and a guide appears in front of you.
2.) Touch your right-hand controller to the ground in the center of your arena and pull the trigger. The controller will vibrate to confirm the input.
3.) Walk to the front of your arena (if your arena is rectangular, you would walk down the length of your playspace towards the shorter of the two sides) and touch your right controller to the floor, then pull the trigger. Once again, the controller will vibrate to confirm calibration has completed.
Repeat this process for each headset to calibrate it. This calibration will be shared across all supported games, so you don't need to calibrate more than once per headset unless you redraw your Quest Boundary.
Tip: if you need to quickly recalibrate a player, you don't need to take off their headset! Just take their controllers off them and use the vibrations to tell when you're done. We will be adding a single-controller mode to help with this in a future Spawnpoint update.
